  Bhujangasana   Cobra

The cobra is has powerful and flexible muscles. When we start the cobra pose, we lie on our tummy on the floor. Relax your legs and let your belly settle into the floor.  Put your palms on the floor below your shoulders and tuck your elbows in towards your ribs.  Now stretch stretch stretch up and up. Don’t push with your hands. Make your back long and use your muscles from your tail bone to the top of your back. Look up just a bit while you’re making the back of your neck really long like in the picture.

Breathe out and in, keeping the breath flowing. Enjoy your strong flexible back. Keep your thoughts focused on how you feel inside.  Breathing out, breathing in, I am powerful and centered like a cobra.
